Whistler basalt comes in a stone veneer, patio/paving stone, wall stone, boulders and columns, steps and risers, and a West Coast blend (a combination of Mountain chalet rhyolite and Whistler basalt).
Whistler basalt stone veneer comes in an Ashlar, ledgestone, and random veneer. The Ashlar pattern is a split (natural) face stone which has a sawn top and bottom. The Whistler basalt Ashlar veneer comes in a thickness in the full stone of 3 inches to 5 inches with a height of 2” x 12” and a weight of approximately 50 pounds a square foot. Its coverage is 35 to 40 square feet and comes in lengths from 8 inches to 36 inches, perfect for any of your natural stone projects. Bedrock’s Ashlar veneer has been used and can be seen at the Four Seasons Resort in Whistler BC.
Ashlar veneer also comes in thin stone with a thickness of 3/4 inches to 1.5 inches and a height of 2 inches to 12 inches with a weight of 14 pounds a square foot and a length of 18 inches to 36 inches making Whistler basalt Ashlar veneer the perfect finishing touch to any of your natural stone designs.
Whistler basalt ledgestone veneer is a split (natural) face veneer which offers a linear look. Very frequently ledgestone is narrow in height and random in length. The Whistler basalt ledgestone veneer comes in a full stone or thin stone choice. The full stone comes in a thickness of 3 inches to 5 inches with a height of 3” x 6” and a length of 6 inches to 20 inches. The ledgestone pattern veneer comes in a weight of approximately 50 pounds a square foot and has a coverage of 35 to 40 square feet per ton.
Whistler basalt veneer is also available in a thin or full stone. The full stone random pattern veneer is a split (natural) face project. Its broken joints make the random pattern ideal for recreating a historical natural stone look. The thin stone Whistler basalt veneer comes in a thickness of 3/4 inches to 1.5 inches and sizes 6” x 6” up to 12” x 24” in random shapes. Its weight is 24 pounds a square foot.
The patio/paving stone Whistler basalt comes in a sawn top and bottom with a sandblasted top in random shapes. Its thickness is 1 inch or thicker with sizes 10” x 10” up to 20” x 24” with a weight of 13 pounds a square foot based on 1 inch. It is a beautiful finishing touch to your entrance ways and patios and works in any surroundings.

Its weight comes in 50 pounds per square foot and it has a coverage of 35 inches to 40 inches square foot per ton. The ledgestone pattern also comes in a thin stone variety with a thickness of 3/4 inches to 1-1/2 inches with heights 2 inches to 6 inches and a length of 6 inches to 24 inches. It comes in a weight of 14 pounds a square foot.
